• If I bought a Straw Hat Glass last year, can I bring it back for Cinco de Mayo this year?

  • Yes! Bring it back (clean) and it can be refilled throughout the day for discounted pours.

• Can I make a Table Reservation for Cinco de Mayo?

  • No, we will not be doing table reservation or rentals during Cinco de Mayo. Everything will be first come, first served.

• Will I need to buy drink tickets?

  • No! In the interest of simplifying, our Cinco de Mayo Celebration will work like any other day at Emancipation. Feel free to open a tab or pay as you go. If you need to retrieve your card to use it at a food vendor, go to the main bar and we’ll close out your tab or trade you for your driver’s license.

• Will the Tapshack (Outdoor Bar) be open during Cinco de Mayo?

  • Yes! Weather permitting, we will have our Tapshack (outdoor bar) open with 4 beers (including Straw Hat) to service our patio area during our Cinco de Mayo Celebration.

• Do you have any outdoor games?

  • Yes! We have a couple Cornhole Sets, Lawn Yahtzee & Big Jenga that will be set out to use in our outdoor area, weather permitting.

• Will you have the fire pits going?

  • Yes! We have a couple fire pits in our outdoor area, and we will have them going throughout the day, weather permitting.

• Are Kids welcome?

  • Yes! As always, Emancipation is very kid-friendly. Emancipation expects that your kids to be within your eyesight at all times for their safety.

• Can I brink my dog?

  • Yes, but we ask that they be only in our Lean-To space or our Patio area, and always leashed. Please use your judgement in deciding whether your pup will be well-behaved and feel comfortable with large amounts of people around.

• Will you be offering Beer to go?

  • Yes, we have a wide assortment of canned and bottled beer, and you can get a growler fill of most of our beers on draft. Please note that wait times for growler fills may be extended, so we suggest letting the bar staff know what you’d like when you arrive so they can prepare it while you’re enjoying our Cinco de Mayo Celebration. Then, you can pick it up when you leave. We will have bottles of our Straw Hat & Habanero Hat beers and Crowlers of Snakeskin Boots. As always, all beer while supplies last

• Will you be tapping any of the Special Beers before Saturday, 5/2?

  • Yes! We understand that not everyone can come to our Cinco de Mayo Celebration, so we’ll be tapping and releasing a small amount of Snakeskin Bots on Thursday, 4/30.

• Can I order a flight?

  • Yes! Please note that flights take a bit more time than pouring a pint, so please be patient with our staff as they prepare your flight. We will be offering a special Cinco de Mayo Flight as well.
